2 Yards 18" Pellon 906F Fusible Interfacing 20" Wide

Looking for the perfect substitute for the elusive Pellon P44F?? Look no further because you've found it!
While this is not paper thin like P44F, it is the closest I have come to it. I've tested it on pockets and linings for bags and linings for my baskets that I make and I dig it! It fuses really well and does not add bulk. I highly recommend it if you cannot find P44F.

Pellon® 906F Fusible Sheerweight is an ultra lightweight, non-woven, fusible
interfacing for sheer to lightweight fabrics. It is the perfect substitute for Pellon P44F!!

It is great for wovens and knits such as
crepe de chine, voile, and handkerchief linen.
Notes & Tips:
-There is no preshrinking required. ALWAYS PRE-TEST on a scrap of fabric; fusing is
not recommended for triacetate, lace, seersucker or rainwear.
-Use steam iron with metal sole plate. Hand-held steamers will not permanently bond
interfacing to fabric.
-Use your damp press cloth as a temperature and timing guide. After 10–15 seconds,
press cloth should be dry. If not, raise iron temperature or hold iron in place a few
seconds longer.

General Directions:

1. Trim & steam baste:
Pin pattern piece to interfacing following grainline arrows; cut. Trim seam allowances
to 1⁄4” (6mm). Next, place fusible (this is the rough shiny side) on the wrong side of
fabric. Pin, then steam baste along edges with tip of iron. Remove pins.
2. Fuse:
Cover with a DAMP cloth. Set iron on wool/steam setting: Press firmly for full 10–12
seconds. Repeat, lifting and slightly overlapping until all interfacing is fused. Steam
press on right side. Let fabric cool, then check bond.
Fiber Content: 100% Polyester
Care Instructions: Hand wash finished project, or machine wash on gentle cycle, cold
water with gentle soap (keeping in mind any specific instructions for the fabric used. No bleach. Lay flat, drip dry, or dry clean.
